During his national tour with Ensemble Q, William Barton took the time to visit Ngutu College, a K-12 school on Kaurna Country which is part of Musica Viva Australia's Music Education Residency program. He spoke and played with didgeridoo students, including the members of Ngutu Ipila Kumangka, winner of the Innovation Prize at this year's Strike A Chord.

William then welcomed the students to Adelaide Town Hall that evening to hear the premiere of his new work, Journey to the Edge of the Horizon.

The Music Education Residency program at Ngutu College is delivered thanks to the support of John and Jennifer Henshall, and the Day Family Foundation.
