In the Steps of Bach - The Road to Lübeck

Join Bach Akademie Australia for their first concert in Newcastle. Trace the journey of a young 20-year-old Bach on foot of almost 400 kilometres from Arnstadt in the heart of Germany, to Lübeck near the Baltic coast to hear the famous organist Dietrich Buxtehude. Featuring three of Australia’s finest musicians - organist Marko Sever, Baritone Andrew O’Connor and Countertenor Russell Harcourt and ending with Bach’s Cantata BWV 170.
