Marketing and Communications Team 

The Marketing team works across Musica Viva Australia (MVA) nationally, delivering a brand strategy which actively promotes engagement in concerts, education and emerging artists.  

Our primary purpose to make music feel extraordinary for everyone. We have the conviction that great music and musicians make the world a better place. And we’re in the business of creating truly memorable experiences for people of all ages and from all backgrounds. 

At their core, all roles in our Marketing team connect artists with people across Australia – whether in classrooms, on concert stages or online. We are currently seeking two talented, motivated people to join our Marketing and Communications Team. 

Digital Marketing Manager

This position is for you if you're inspired by telling stories digitally to create real work impact. 

This role is responsible for overseeing MVA’s brand digitally, including initiating and executing strategies to generate maximum engagement and revenue across all three pillars of the business (Concerts, Education and Emerging Artists) within the framework of all MVA audience strategies and the development and management of MVA’s website, content strategies and social media channels. 

You will play a critical role in promoting our performances, programs, and initiatives through innovative digital marketing strategies. You’re likely to have marketing experience in the arts and cultural / NFP sector and be driven by making positive impacts.

Marketing Coordinator

The role works nationally on the marketing activity of all MVA programs and  plays a vital role within as part of the team’s administrative and systems backbone. 

You will be responsible for database support, assisting with direct mail campaigns, email marketing and cross promotional opportunities, budget maintenance and data analysis and reporting.

Our volunteers have played an integral role with Musica Viva Australia since its founding in 1945, when European refugees volunteered their time to see their cultural roots flourish in their new country. Today, our volunteers donate their time to roles on committees, administration, and providing specialty services, and we’re hugely grateful for their contributions.
